Residential IT ServicesOur services will ensure your personal IT needs of peace of mind and ease of use are met.
We understand that you want your computer to work for you. When you have an issue with your computer, we empathize with your pain and will salvage your IT shipwreck in a timely and complete manner.
We provide in-person support at our office, on-site support at your home, and remote support from anywhere. On-site appointments outside the 98277 zip code incur a one-way $2/mile travel fee. All services are provided at one hour minimum and then billed in 15-minute increments. |

Residential Service Policy
Introduction These terms of service ("policy") will help you understand how Kraken IT Solutions LLC ("us", "we", "our") provides residential services on-site and at our physical location (“office”) with your computer equipment (“devices”, “items”). If you want to make sure that you are up to date with this policy, please email [email protected]. Workflow 1.) You contact us for assistance either as a walk-in at our office or as an on-site. 2.) If you have not already agreed to the latest Privacy Policy, Follow-Ups and Refunds Policy, and Residential Terms of Service as a returning customer, you read and decide whether to agree with these policies. 3.) If you agree to these policies, you then complete our Customer Intake Form and we will place a $60 pre-authorization hold via cash or card as a Diagnostic Fee. 4.) We will diagnose the issue and provide you with our findings. Sometimes repair is not possible or something we are not inclined to perform, and in such cases we will lift the Diagnostic Fee hold and return your devices and items. In situations where we can provide additional service to achieve resolution, we will provide you with at least one estimate on how to proceed. In situations where necessary work will take 30 minutes or less, we will perform this work and only charge you the Diagnostic Fee. 5.) If you agree to an estimate, we will perform the work as prescribed in the estimate. Any changes to the scope of estimates will need to be consented to by both parties. 6.) Upon completion we will alert you via phone and/or email. Payment is due upon receipt of your devices and items. We accept cash and credit/debit. Pricing Diagnostic Fee – An upfront $60 pre-authorization hold per distinct service issue/visit. If we are unable or unwilling to perform the requested work this hold will be lifted. If you leverage us for further work as prescribed by an estimate, this $60 hold will be charged and applied as a credit towards the estimate’s total amount. Hourly Rate – We have a static hourly rate of $60/hour. Billed at a minimum of one hour, and then in 15-minute increments thereafter. Travel Fee – For on-site calls outside of the 98277 zip code, a one-way $2/mile travel fee Estimates, Hardware, and Software Estimate pricing is negotiable, but once signed, remains the authoritative price of services rendered unless changes are consented to by both parties, you and ourselves. Some estimates may call for hardware and/or software, however, to keep prices as low as possible we do not resell hardware nor software.
